In 2011 I held a month's training and development internship in the writing and story rooms of one of South Africa's highest rated TV shows of the year.

Working alongside the members of both the story and the writers room, I was trained on the job in how to write, structure and edit television. I was trained in script development from season narrative to episodic beat writing to manifesting those beats into dialogue. As a part of this training I also attended Robert McKee's Story Seminar, a three day intensive course in classic feature film story structure.

This internship led to the completion and production of an episode I wrote.
