National Railway Museum

events

Since November 2015 I have been working with the Public Programme Department at the National Railway Museum to support and assist the delivery of their exhibitions, events and learning programmes.

I work in an assistant and administrative capacity, whilst leading on smaller projects for this national establishment, representing also their wider organisation; the Science Museum Group.

My work at the museum has included aiding the delivery of the historical Flying Scotsman Season, the ground-breaking Ambulance Train exhibition programme and the innovative Future Engineers Programme.

This work has included organising and managing photography events, 'Lates' festival events, curator talks, VIP access events and theatre developments and instalments. In this I have also worked closely with STEM objectives, corporate funding, KPI evaluation, contractor management and Health and Safety procedures.

Most recently I led on a series of talks surrounding the Ambulance Trains exhibitions. This three day event will include internal and external speakers of varying backgrounds, procured film screenings and object handling.
